The exterior is laminated with a high performance leather embossed vinyl that is resistant to water penetration, denting and scratching. I’m happy to leave a Review for the XL Rhino Camp Trunk AND Rhino & Trunk Case, Inc. because they are AMAZING!! I’m sending my 1st kid off to college for a test run and it has been quite overwhelming…I came across their trunk product on a retail site and feared ordering through that site would not get the item to me in time. I called and received the care and consideration I needed in that moment. I was able to place my order AND received it JUST IN TIME! I can’t be more pleased and my son is also a little more hyped about flying the coop, if only for a week, LOL! But I trust his trunk will follow him for some time to come. It is well made, Decided to go without the liner because I’m sentimental so I took a sharpie to the inside…we added wheels and opted for the anchoring rope. All is well :) Have to give props where they are due…shop with them!!
